SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND RIVER, ON – March 5, 2020 – For the second year in a row, the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC), was named as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte Canada for 2020.
This national award is presented annually by Deloitte Canada and is considered one of Canada’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in private Canadian-owned companies. Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies undergo a rigorous application process, but only the best are awarded with this prestigious designation.
“We are honoured to be recognized with this award for the second year in a row by Deloitte Canada,” said Matt Jamieson, President/CEO of the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation. “This recognition from Deloitte reinforces our corporate goal of Autonomy 150 by 2025. It also triggers a sense of pride that corporate Canada has recognized what SNGRDC has been able to achieve for the Six Nations Community.”
The Best Managed Applicants are evaluated based on four key areas including: Strategy, Capability, Commitment, and Financials. The announcement was made public on Thursday March 5, and SNGRDC staff will celebrate this achievement at their upcoming internal town hall event.
