Phillip Johnson is a band member of the Six Nations of the Grand River from the Oneida tribe. He is currently the Manager of Health, Safety and Environment for the Niagara Parks. He is a health and safety/human resources professional who holds both the CRSP and NCSO designations, a Bachelor of Science from Brock University, a certificate in Health and Safety and Human Resources from Niagara College, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration program at the University of Fredericton with an anticipated graduation year of 2018.

Phillip Johnson has spent the last 10 years working in the field of health and safety/human resources in progressive roles for both the public and private sector starting at Loblaw for 3 years, then Six Nations Council for 4 years, Maple Leaf Foods for 3 years and finally taking the role at the Niagara Parks.

Phillip Johnson has a strong background in human resources, financial accounting and leadership due to the variety of roles and for whom he has been employed. He believes in volunteerism and being a part of your community, is a Big Brother as part of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program and is a regular guest speaker at Brock University for the Human Resources program.
