As previously announced in March 2024, the second round of Six Nations of the Grand River Economic Development Trust (EDT) application process for 2024 is currently underway.
The EDT received 11 applications with a total ask of $410,801 and has released the shortlisted applications, inclusive of two General applications and eight Grassroots applications.
The shortlisting process consists of applications that are deemed complete, are within the scope of the 2024 EDT guidelines, and warrant further evaluation by the EDT, a committee of the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) Board of Directors.
The funding allocation is decided following the application review and scoring, as well as applicant presentations. Presentations are taking place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the SNGRDC boardroom (2498 Chiefswood Rd), which are open to the public. The presentation schedule is as follows:

Successful recipients will be notified by Friday, June 28, 2024, and must utilize funding by December 1, 2024.
