(Brantford, ON) – The City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department, County of Brant Tourism and Six Nations Tourism are excited to announce the arrival of the 2019/2020 annual ‘Explore the Grand’ visitor guide. The 24-page magazine-style digest highlights key attractions and experiences throughout the area and celebrates the updated companion microsite, ExploretheGrand.com.

The annual guide features beautiful images of more than 50 local attractions promoting cultural draws in the area, places to dine out and shop, festivals and events, outdoor adventures, and much more. The guide is now a more convenient digest size and small enough to fit in most purses or to fold and put in your back pocket. New this year is a foldout map, highlighting the area’s accommodations and points of interest. Pull the map out or download and print the PDF from ExploretheGrand.com to take with you on an upcoming hike or bike ride through our communities.

The fun, engaging, brightly-coloured guide features section headlines that double as popular hashtags used on social media platforms, including: #FoodieFaves, #GetOutside, #RetailTherapy, #CraftBrew, #CultureConnects, #LiveJams, #FarmFresh, #SpaDay and #FunDay. These categories speak to the wide range and diverse nature of the product offerings in our communities and the digital platforms in which they are often discussed.

In total, 40,000 copies of Explore the Grand have been printed and will soon be available in high-traffic areas such as hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions throughout Brantford, the County of Brant and Six Nations of the Grand River. Brantford Expositor subscribers will receive a copy of the guide right to their door, and all other interested local residents are encouraged to pick up a copy at the Brantford Visitor and Tourism Centre, County of Brant Tourism or Six Nations Tourism offices.

The Explore the Grand e-brochure can be viewed online at www.explorethegrand.com. The website features additional special offers and coupons to various attractions throughout the area.
