RACHEL MARTIN
Rachel Martin, is part Mohawk and a member of Six Nations, and boasts an extensive career as a Business Support Officer spanning over 25 years with Two Rivers Community Development Centre. Her dedication to the community is evident through her successful execution of various impactful projects, including the renowned “Shop Local/Shop Native” initiative, Street Banner Project, and Break into Business Camps for local youth.
Beyond her professional achievements, Rachel has proven herself as a serial entrepreneur, having owned and operated multiple successful small businesses, including BU Photo Booth Rentals. She currently leads as the Chair of the Six Nations Arts Council /The Red Barn and serves as the Advisor for “Project Skate Park – Six Nations. Alongside her professional commitments, Rachel has volunteered annually at the Kitchener Blues Festival for over a decade.
In her leisure time, Rachel nurtures her creativity through stained glass artistry with her daughter. Her greatest joy lies in spending quality time with her grown children, embodying the essence of work-life balance and family-oriented values.
