Founded in 2015 as a Joint Venture, Aecon-Six Nations (A6N) is a proudly Indigenous-owned and operated company providing utility construction services across Ontario, including heavy civil, hydrovac excavation, and forestry. Backed by a majority-Indigenous workforce, A6N prioritizes safety, quality, and sustainability in every project.
A6N is a Certified Indigenous Business under the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business, and currently bosts an 85% Indigenous workforce. The company is majority-owned by Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, the economic development agency for the Six Nations of the Grand River.
