Myka Burning is an Onondaga Deer from Six Nations of the Grand River. She is the proud mother of seven strong indigenous children. Myka has been involved with many boards, committees, and projects within Six Nations and in urban Indigenous areas. She is one of the founders of Six Nations Pride, which marks one of the first ever Pride events to take place on the Six Nations territory. Myka is an advocate for Indigenous rights, equality and community building opportunities.
