The Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation is seeking dedicated community members to join our Board of Directors. The Board plays a vital role in shaping our future by ensuring strong governance and accountability, building economic self-sufficiency, and leaving a lasting positive impact for generations to come.

We are focused on generating revenue through economic development initiatives and reinvesting in programs and services that strengthen our community, our people, and future generations.

As a Board Member, you will:

  • Provide high-level guidance and informed input to support the board in setting the organization’s strategic goals and future direction.
  • Participate in Board meetings and serve on at least one committee: (Governance, Finance, Economic Development Trust, or Board Development.
  • Work with fellow directors to ensure accountability and transparency alignment in decision-making.
  • Support the vision of reinvesting in our community for long-term wellbeing.
  • Act with integrity, uphold fiduciary responsibilities, and ensure decisions reflect the best interests of the organization and community.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow directors, staff, and community partners, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and thoughtful dialogue.
