The Six Nations of the Grand River Economic Development Trust (EDT) is pleased to announce an additional $1.7M in funding available for community investment in 2024. This is surplus funding that was not previously allocated as part of the first 2024 call for EDT applications.
Applications will be released on www.sixnationsedt.ca on March 25, 2024. The final application deadline is May 3, 2024, at 4:00pm.
Those who were successful in obtaining funding in the first call for 2024 applications are not eligible to re-apply. Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-screening process, which allows applications to be reviewed prior to the final deadline to ensure that all sections are completed, and all proper documentation is included to give applicants the greatest chance of success. Applicant presentations will take place in the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) boardroom on June 22, 2024. All successful applicants will be notified on June 28, 2024.
Since 2016, the EDT has invested over $18 million into the Six Nations community. The EDT funding is made possible through annual distributions of surplus profits from SNGRDC. For more information on the EDT, including application guidelines and past recipients, please visit www.sixnationsedt.ca.
