After a successful pilot phase and an overwhelming amount of interest, Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) is excited to announce that the Tiny Homes project will proceed as a formal endeavour under SNGRDC.
The next phase of the Tiny Homes project is currently being finalized, including the logistical process for placing an order and the construction timeline of the homes. Those who have indicated their interest in the project by joining our email list will be contacted to complete an initial intake to determine their readiness to purchase a home. This will help to solidify the logistical process to determine the current level of demand for these homes.
Anyone who is interested in potentially purchasing a home can sign up for the email list by visiting www.sndevcorp.ca/tinyhomes. This webpage also contains additional information on the project as well as sell sheets for each model.
Two models will be available for purchase: a 480 square foot, 1-bedroom model; and a 960 square foot, 3-bedroom model. The tiny homes are designed to be purchased and placed on the buyer’s land.
SNGRDC is eager to launch this project to help address housing challenges on Six Nations and to provide families in our community with safe, secure, and affordable homes.
